I was called by Carrie Monk and convinced me to refinance my house with AmeriSave and I had a tendency to do so. Right then she asked me to pay $500 to lock in the interest rate and the money will be part of the closing fee but my application was denied right when they received the money which I expected to be reimbursed if my application is not approved.
before even the application was processed No explanation, no answer for phone calls, text or email.
I cannot accept paying this much money to be totally ignored by all crew who were involved. I dont recommend AmeriSave to my friends and family for their mortgage needs of any kind.

They do not answer their phones and my bill is incorrect. They told me to pay another company because they were being taken over by another company.
So I sent my mortgage payment to another company.
Then I received another bill the following month saying that Americesave was again the lender and that I was late and pay my mortgage but I was not. I ended up having to call my bank canceled the check to the incorrect mortgage company to call the incorrect mortgage company and then I also had to try and get a Merry safe contacted because they billed me excessively for a late fee which I was not laid on it.

I mailed a amerisave bank check to my credit card payoff
Three weeks ago the credit card co. Told me they don't have the check it wasn't sent back to me have no idea we're it is have no way of knowing if the check was cashed and can't get a hold of anyone to get this resolved.

I initiated a refinance inquiry with Mr Brian Barlage at Amerisave last week. The more I work with him, the more uneasy I became.
Shifting numbers, conflicting statements.
Belligerent would not begin to describe his attitude and treatment.
The final straw was approximately 15 minutes when accused me of lying to.him.
I am demanding a refund of the $400 that I deposited. When I submitted that payment, I wrongly expected some semblance of integrity and respect.
If you feel you cannot accommodate my demand, I will quickly contact your Attorney General for assistance.

Refinance Nightmare
I was upfront to with my credit score and the loan Manager said I am eligible for re-finance. After signing all the documents and changing my title and home insurance to their name.
They did not return any calls or emails and ruined my credit.
I fell behind on my current mortgage and They will not help you instead leaving you hanging without any resolution. Do not use this company they are fraudulent,.

My husband and I have been trying to get a loan closed with this company now for almost 8 months every time we think we are done we are told that underwriting needs something else and they dont ask for it once they ask for it numerous times in different aspects Ive had court order documents that I had to provide I had to get a judge to write something it is ridiculous I had to copy every single check that is paid to us by person for 20 years they needed everything I mean really I have been told that we were waiting on a closing date at least 6 to 7 times and instead I get bombarded and hold we need for underwriting again I dont believe theyre ever going to close this loanI believe we will always be jerked around
My loan closed the original amount promised to be what I get back from cash out and get it closed yesterday along with an apology for wasting my time

I am going to find every website online to posts how terrible of a company you are. You make people feel like they get preapproved and take their 500.00 then never personally contact me again and just send email blast request everyday.
I was never really preapproved! You asked me list after list of items. I more than provided the needed documentation. You should have a class action law suit against your company for intentionally trying to take money from people you have no intention of approving.
I wish I would have read your reviews on line before! You are not a reputable company.

Verified ReviewerCancelled my Cash Out Refinance after nearly 4 months and no responses from my Loan Officer or her boss.
I was approved for the Cash Out Refinance beginning of June provided I had my garage ceiling fixed. It was done June 19th and I had a difficult time getting the appraiser to come out and could not get my Loan Officer to communicate with me.
Once approved appraisal still could not get my loan officer or her boss to call, text or email me. I gave up Aug 5th after starting the process in May.

AmeriSave - Unprofesional Loan Officer and Manager refuse to respond to email or voice mail
Good Afternoon,
My husband (Kurt Sharpp, Sr) and I are beyond perturbed. We sent numerous emails to the original loan agent, Saskia Elgin with no response.
On Friday, July 9 at 6:31 am., we received an email stating our emails to Saskia have been blocked, an immediate call (8 am) was placed to Customer Service inquiring what the heck was going on!
We were then notified that a new agent was assigned, Saskia was no longer with Amerisave. This loan agent, Kyle Lancaster has never called or emailed us to establish a connection, and most certainly has not called to discuss with us the status of our application, especially with the expiration of the pre-approval rate lock looming - expired on July 9, 2021.
We asked and were assured that Kyle's manager, Muhammed Ismail would call us by the end of the day. Making sure our voices are heard, we also emailed and left a voice mail for Muhammed and Kyle, neither has taken the time to call or respond to emails.
If Amerisave and its employees (Saskia's manager), knew of her departure, he/she should have contacted her clients and informed them of a new LO. And when that did not happen, Kyle Lancaster or his manager should have reached out to ensure Sasakia's clients were notified of the new LO.
Neither of the two happened which is totally unprofessional, to say the least. We are requesting that Muhammed and/or Kyle call (ASAP!) us with the status of our application so we can move forward.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. Amerisave management stepped in to assist and the issue was resolved..
I am happy to report that I was contacted by Amerisave representative who is assiting with pushing my loan through. I have recieved notification that my loan is approved and closing is scheduled for next week.
It does not matter what happened up to this point. What matters to me is that Amerisave management stepped in and assisted to get the situation resolved peacefully and once again earned my respect. Thank you Amerisave for what you have done!

The initial appraisal and inspection noted that the home met FHA minimum requirements. However Amerisave insisted on minor repairs.I performed those.One inspection and two reinspections later (that I will be billed for) we still cant close.
Have been working on this mortgage since April 29 and it is now July 7th. Each time I ask about the possibility of closing I am given a list of "desperately needed" items and no answer to my question of when we are going to close. They have run my credit twice. Apparently the report expired because they played around too long.
The next thing I am sure I will hear is the rate lock has expired and we need to change the rate.
I am very dissatisfied with this company. I am seriously considering cutting my losses and engaging a different mortgage company.
I am attempting to purchase a home for $180000. The home appraised at $209000.
The financed portion is $176739.
Don't see that as a risky investment for either party.
On or about May 10 my application was denied because "the home was not going to be my primary home". Mind you the person that determined this had never even spoken to me. I contacted Amerisave customer service and we were able to resolve that issue, or so I thought. I spoke with a person named Ryan who was going to keep me updated on the application.
Unfortunately, that has not happened.
The May 31 closing date called for in the sales agreement came and went with no word from Amerisave. Fortunately, the seller happens to be a family friend and she has been patient, but her patience is wearing thin.
We are in July now. I continuously ask for a status and/or target date but can't seem to get an answer. Instead, I get another list of things needed.
Basically, I am getting the runaround.
This is aggravating to say the least. At this point I am about ready to say refund my $500 and I will engage another mortgage company.
I get the feeling that this application is being stalled by someone.Not a good way to do business.
From what I see there is no apparent ending in sight. This house has been under contract since 4/29/21 and we still cannot provide a closing date?
This is beyond ridiculous.

They keep asking for things that have nothing to do with this loan. I’ve been divorced for seven years they want a copy of my divorce decree which I sent them, they want something else because the divorce decree isn’t good enough just on and on and on horrible horrible company
